I need to pick up mainly local fire/police and airband. I don't believe I really need trunking or digital.. actually what is the difference with trunking and digital? I thought they were the same thing..

anyhow, what scanners have the best sensitivity for aircraft, etc?

Thanks

You may want to go with the pro97.Its their newest model and supports LTR.Not that you need it.
Its a bit more than you want to pay but may end up being worth it in the long haul.
There was a post reguarding several scanners Ill Try to dig up for you.
Its just one persons views on several models of different scanners and the luck he had with them.
