So can I, that's why I asked. It was muliple units though, so whatever it was they were expecting the possibility of multiple injuries. Nothing on the news today, so i don't imagine it was a plain crash.

BTW: how does somebody "soldierd thier hand off"? I had some friends in the army that said they soldiered their ass off, but no hands ever mentioned. Maybe from peeling potatos on KP! :D

Sorry, lets try that again
a plane crash.

See, even I make mistakes! Hard to believe, I know.

That's the thing about (most) spell checkers, as long as the word is spelled correctly, whether or not it is used in the correct context isn't a factor. Of course, that can also said about some people's posts. (Present company excluded!)

I dont know about Military operations but a Commercial airports any time they have an alert they automatically respond additional fire and ambulances. It may have been an alert, but as most times nothing happens so no news.....
Today on the news an incoming jet thought it had a problem and nothing happened....not very news worthy

or

Today on the new a MAC transporting nuclear weapons had an engine malfunction and there was a risk of Okla city not needing street lights as it will glow on its own....Cant see that one either

Well, this being a scanner site, I hoped somebody heard the original call. MWC's ambulance freq is now also licensed to OSU for Student Union operations and maint. That's why I happened to hear the response traffic as I was leaving work, but I missed the original call.

Conditions must be just right. Their transmitter is on top of one of the high-rise dorms, and not particularly powerful. In fact, right now they are having interference problems from other systems that have been installed up there. I know the local Moto shop is having a hair-pulling time trying to get everything to play well together. Pager interference is at an all-time high, receiver desense is killing the portables, things have got to change. From all the new licenses issued to OSU lately, change may be forthcoming, we'll see.
