Whats up with Brockville Police?

Hi there everyone. In a previous post I said that Brockville Police had gone with voice inversion, but now im not sure, I have used some voice inversino software and it doesnt seem to be working, maybe I am just using it wrong. Does anyone know for sure what Brockville has done voice inversion or Digital? Hopefully they werent dumb enough to go back to their digital encryption.. if so oh well I guess it will just be a matter of time before it crash's again.

White noise now...?!?

Well now instead of voice inversion all the channel suonds like now is white noise thats no good. Does this mean digital?! If so I guess Ill have to br eak down and get a digital scanner

Yup that doesn't sound good. The "White noise" you are hearing is most likely digital. You can still hear "voices" on signals that are "speech inverted", they sound like the person is getting strangled to death.

Since this is a police department you are listening to, I am 99.9% sure it's not an "inverted" signal you are hearing but rather a digital one.

Also don't go running out and buy the latest digital scanner just yet, this signal may be "encrypted". Make sure these transmissions are unencrypted first.

Check the frequency database on this website for your area, the information you need to know may be there already.

This sounds like Digital Voice Protection (DVP) or equivalent. No digital scanner is going to decode that.

Wrong frequency - still inverted i think

Hi there again, I was on the worng frequency on my scanner :roll: so i switched back to the correct frequency and i can hear what i heard before it still sounds like voice inversion now.. well it sounds like they are getting stragnled anyway or sounds like some kind of alien language
