What's up with Sun Prairie?

Does anyone know if Sun Prairie is getting a new radio system? I saw a General Communications truck outside the police station the other day. I am just hoping that if they do get a new system, it will not be MA/COM, because of the low bid and shoddy quality.

I can see how we could use a new system though, as VHF is useless in buildings.

Anyone know anything about this?

IF they are , maybe Gen Comm con figure out what the MIC GAIN on the console does and turn it down a half turn. The console audio on that ssystem sucks, WAYYY too loud. I emailed the Chief and told him, he ignored me. Oh well.
