I think the zipcode file C:\ProgramData\Uniden\BCDx36HP_Sentinel\Updater\ZipTable_V1_00_00.dat needs updating. It has a file date of 9/11/2013. The MasterHpdb_12_05_2021.gz file in the same folder is current.

IIRC zip table is a text file. You can update it with notepad. Use an adjacent zip code as sample code to get you headed in the right direction.

Just overwrite with the manually edited file if need be. You would keep a backup - right?

You could try setting it to read only.

Are you sure the file will be overwritten?

The ZIP file is not updated when the DB is updated. Note it has a 2013 date.

Known issue and was one of the first entries on the list to fix.

The workaround is to use an older zip code in the same area.

You are correct, editing the mentioned file and updating the scanner did NOT work. I have entered the old zip code for this area and I guess I will have to live with that.
