Eden Prairie has decided to move at least partially to the 800 ARMER system. They are still researching whether to move all services or just Public safety. They have filed statments to this with the FCC in request of an extension on construction of Call sign WSB457. They are requesting the extension until 7/2007, by that time a full plan who will be on what system should be completed.

It would make sense for them to at least move public safety to ARMER due to the fact that all the communities around them have already switched over or will be in the near future. This would make communicating with surrounding agencies much more efficient, especially during incidents that require response from multiple agencies. I guess there is also a debate over whether they are going to integrate with Hennepin County Dispatch or continue to be self-dispatched.
