Is it time to ask Uniden if Paul's position will be filled with an equally enthusiastic individual who is as dedicated to the hobby as Paul was? There are several little issues with the SDS 100 and SDS 200 that need to be addressed with a firmware update.
The updates I would like to see include showing the proper Unit ID when doing a playback on a Phase 1 P25 trunking system.
Showing the unit ID when picking up a conversation on a Phase 2 P25 trunk system. It will pick up the unit Id on the second transmission of the conversation but often misses the first unit ID if the conversation is picked up in the middle of the call.
My SDS200 will quit receiving and is fixed with a power down and back up or simply turning it off and back on.
