where can i fine some one to fix a johson messenger

i just bought a 223 jhonson messenger it lights up i cant hear any thing when i hold my trc217 hand held40 channel it will make the static stop when i hit the talk button thats all i would like to find some one that works on them the old man that had it talked on it all the time but it has been in storge for 2 mos.it looks like new thank you bernie
