Where do I start?

Hi everyone. An important system to me has moved from analog to DMR, so I must follow suit. I have no experience whatsoever, and would like to keep things as simple as possible. I tried to look for solutions but my head spins at all the options. Can someone recommend a SIMPLE program I could use to go back to listening as soon and as SIMPLE as humanely possible?

The system I need to listen to is : RESEAU NOMADE Trunking System, GASPESIE, Multi-State
