Where is the positive and negative on a TELESCOPIC antenna? The image below ( from a previous stack exchange question) shows a dipole antennas' positive and negative.

Can someone please post a similar picture, but for a telescopic antenna which shows where the positive and negative are for a telescopic antenna?

Your attachment didn't come through, at least not on my network, but antennas don't really have a positive and negative, as those terms are for DC. What you do have is the radiating element and the ground plane. On a telescopic antenna, the whole thing is the radiating element and the ground plane is the radio and whatever else is bonded to the radio. On a portable radio, many times you become the ground plane. That's why some folks will put a "rat tail" counterpoise on their portable whip.

The radio's internal frame is the ground in most cases, but yes, the human body can also "help" in some cases. Motorola depends on this for most of their portables.
