where to aim

OK, I'm gonna give the Milsats a try.
After I get the antenna built, what part of the sky do I aim it? Is it close to the TV sats?

Looking for a good site for beginner info.

Assuming you're in Kentucky, you're in the footprint of the conus constellation, which is at about 100 degrees west over the equator. That means pointing SSW at about 30 or 40 degrees over the horizon. You may also be able to pick up the Atlantic constellation, which is at a bout 20 degrees West, though you're not technically in the footprint.

Aiming isn't as critical as with a DBS dish, so just point in the general direction and then tweak for maximum signal strength.
