Where to buy scanners in Tulsa

I'm new to the board and this seems like a good place to ask the question.
Where can I purchase a bct8 in or near Tulsa? Is this a good scanner for a novice? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if he is still in business, But look in the phone book for Electronic Services or Systems. He sells out of a store front at his house @ 31st and Memorial area. He generally carries Uniden stuff. Had some health issues a few years ago but I think he recovered.

Freqed thanks...that guy runs his business from his house and unfortunately there is a sign in the garage that read temp closed do to stroke.

You could try Radio Shack. I realize they don't have a BCT8 but they have the Pro-2051 which is the same thing as the BCT8 except the 2051 has 1000 channels and signal stalker. The Pro-2051 is made by Uniden, just sold by Radio Shack. Just a suggestion.

safetyobc thanks, the pro 2051 is what I ended up buying today. These thing have changed alot since the last one I owned about 8-9 yrs ago.
