which antenna

Hi, I have a an Icom RC-3 and the TV style antenna that comes with it is almost useless. What I want to get is a high gain rubber duck style antenna, tuned to 161Mhz since I listen to that the range the most. Can anyone recommend a type and where to get it? I think i'll have to get it cut to frequency.

I use this Diamond Antenna on all my scanners since they make a remarkable difference in reception.

I would advice against cutting this antenna is you buy one...........

I see, so this one performs well on a wide range of frequencies, thats good. What about getting something like a KD4-150HQ Larsen 150-162MHz so the centre frequency is 156MHz and shorten it to move the center frequency up 5MHz to 161MHz?
