Which format would you like tone outs to be submited in?

I am currently working on deciphering tones for my county, when I create a complete list I am going to submit it to the RR Database. (thats the only reason I am working on this list)

How would you like it submitted? Exel, Word etc.? What ever is easy for you guys.

And is there any way to give credit to who submitted??(pays off the hard work of recording & analizing tones!! :lol: )

It should look like this example, so that all we have to do is upload it. :shock:

No, just kidding. What we need it in, and would be best, at least I think, is plain ASCII. And seperated so that when we look at it in some fixed font format (like Notepad) it looks something like the way it should look (without that formatting of course). Just make sure that we can understand the columns as they are set up. The example I gave does not have spacing and timing, but that can be (and should be) included if known.

I guess I sould say which program should I use .

I am most comfortable using MS word, would that be ok?

I should have this list in a couple weeks. Its hard to record all the tones b/c some stations don't get called that much.

It is time consuming, but fun at the same time. (It doesnt take much to amuse me

You can use anything you want to put your list together; but, when you submit it understand that no matter what you have used to build it up, it is submitted in ASCII fixed font plain Jane text. So, although it might look pretty good to you on your screen, it may come through as jammed together. This is why I said you should see what it looks like in Notepad (and copy if from Notepad to submit) before you send it.
