Hello,
For under $100.00 complete w/mount which is the best 2m/70cm mobile antenna?
Any help will be appreciated-I am getting exhausted looking at options.

Often asked and often answered question. Many users here, including myself, will recommend the Larsen NMO 2/70 antenna on a Larsen NMO "through the roof" mount. Larsen antennas are well built and durable. I've had one of my NMO 2/70's for about 19 years. The antenna is about $70, and the mount is in the $20 range. Avoid the less expensive (and lower quality) Tram/Browning NMO mounts.

That said, there are some other details to consider that will impact your choice of antenna and mount such as type of vehicle and antenna placement on the vehicle and your willingness to drill a 3/4" hole for the antenna mount, our use an alternate mounting option (such as a magnetic or bracket mount).

If VHF is your primary interest, many users will use a 19" whip. It's a 1/4 wave antenna at VHF and 5/8 wave at UHF. The antenna uses the same NMO mount and costs less than $20.
