Which scanner required for fleetnet

Can anyone tell me what scanner model is required to monitor vhf low fleetnet in ontario. 141 range? I just got a pro-95 and can't get it to work!

141 trunking range cannot be programmed in the 95, pages 58 to 62 indicates UHF Lo and 800/900 only. GRE Pro-96/2096 will program VHF as will several of the Unidens.

You need one of the Digital Scanners to listen to fleetnet the right way.

First, that's still VHF high band (136-174 MHz). VHF low is 30-50 MHz.

If you want to monitor the digital TGs, PRO-96 or BC296D portables, or BC796D or PRO-2096 mobiles/bases.

The models I gave should work if they are only digital and not encrypted. If they are encrypted, nothing will work. I believe that is the system I was listening to while in Niagara Falls, and it works fine on the PRO-96 I had with me.

A bit off topic,but I'm using an Optocom.It works well with Fleetnet(analog only),here in Windsor.Thanks to those people that posted the frequencies!The digital keyups are annoying though,talk about noise!I suggest getting a digital scanner too.I will be looking for one soon,still not enough activity here to warrant one.

Too bad things happened that way. You didn't say what you wanted to monitor. If it includes OPP, you will need a digital model as described. To listen to analog only (including MOH), there are a few others that will work (PRO-92; BC245XLT in the short-term). Depends on your upgrade path and how much you want to spend.

I was able to program the frequencies into the pro 95 using the computer program but I was wondering why It wouldn't work..thanks. I think I'll aim for the pro 96 on e-bay!
