Which scanner?

HHi there, i have a pro 95 scanner currently which is no longer any good for getting the police frequencies. I am looking at buying a new scanner what type do you recommend? I believe either the radioshack pro 96 or the bearcat are the best two. Any help would be appreciated.

you could wait for the BCD396T due out late summer. Check out the sticky in the Uniden forums for more info.

Why is it no longer any good? Are you saying that you now live in a digital area or what?

Are the police frequencies Digital? If so, the Pro-96 would be my choice. Keep the Pro-95 for a second scanner. I sold mine and wish that I didn't. If you can wait the BCD396T would be a good choice also.
