TRX-1: While scanning, what does scrolling scanlists really mean?

When you are scanning a bunch of scanlists on the TRX1/2, the display shows all the scanlists scrolling up across the display. The question is, is the scanner scanning these lists at the speed they are being displayed, or are they just scrolling slowly across the display so you can see which scanlists are being scanned irrespecive of what is actually in the processor being scanned...

In otherwords, is the scanners scanlist display sync'ed with the processor doing the scanner, or is the timing not synced? (LOL, hard thing to describe properly!)

No, it only scrolls when you have more up than will fit on the screen. It's just showing you which lists are active. Scan speed is the same as if you had everything in one list.
