I have been trying to reset our scanners after Lyon County KS went to KASICS. Initially, all that was available was law enforcement. We were able to input those with no issues. We have been told the fire/EMS tones are now available, but when I try to adjust the talkgroups I get "nothing enabled." I use the same process for the other counties nearby and they load without any issues. How do I resolve this?

Hello everyone! I just bought my new Whistler WS1040 yesterday. I downloaded software to my scanner and now it reads Nothing Enabled. Can someone help me with this please? I am a newbie to this scanner.

If you use ARC500 or WIN500, please attach your programming file and I will check it.

That is the P500 file that you Upload to Scanner to program it. You can also Download from Scanner and save the programming that is currently in the scanner. You will have to right click on the file and Send to Compressed (zipped) folder to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and open the zipped file.

Your 3rd page shows No TSYS under Obj Info and the 4th page doesn't show a trunk system. Read the box with NOTE.
Mmmpf. How do I fix that?
Do I simply reload after going to Edit and clicking "New Item at end?"
The sad thing is I did that. And it worked earlier.

There are 5 sites for Lyon County. If Multi-Site is set to Roam, the scanner will stay on the site with the best signal. If set to Stationary, the scanner will scan all sites within range. You need only the control channel (c) and alternate (a) frequencies for each site.

OK. I see the sites you're talking about. I've been trying to load talkgroups with zero success since the fire/EMS channels came online. Also, where do I find Multi-Site to switch those settings?
