Whatever the "leaks" are, any new scanners that don't resolve the issue of P25 simulcast are worthless. Users have complained for years and both brands have done nothing, zero, nada.

Seems scanner manufacturers are chasing the "specs list and features" aspect of display boxes, and not catering to the "audiophile" scanner listeners. First scanner maker who actually finds a way to see profitability in even offering LSM reception, will turn force the other maker/s to follow suit...but until then...

A lack of resolution doesn't necessarily mean nothing has been done. It could just mean they haven't been successful yet.
It is not rocket science. That (the relatively inexpensive design solution to LSM reception) has been documented on this forum several times.One can buy a radio today that receives LSM flawlessly (Unication.) Sure It costs $100-$200 more than today's flawed consumer scanner because it is built to a rugged design for professional use, but it works! Next excuse?
