Since of I have not seen any new models being produced and the lack of any thing that has the capability to deal with simulcast nor any new wow tech coming out of whistler does that mean. perhaps I could be missing something? I dont even think tem advertise? Perhaps I should sell my small Whistler Collection.

Thanks

There was a recent post that talked about how 5G will likely be the foundation for new public safety communications. It made alot of sense.

Of course, it will take a while for this to happen. Once it does, the value of scanners will decline and it will be hard to give them away.

If you think of your radios as an investment, it's probably time to consider selling while you can.

If the value of your radios is simply an entertainment cost, then hang onto them as long as they keep your interest.
