I took advantage of this. Ten days from ship to return, not bad.

Was the dmr upgrade good, how did it perform? Was there any other noticed functions with the paid upgrade?

DMR performs very well. The other advantage is it is now using FW that is current as opposed to almost 10 years old.

Absolutely was a major improvement on my PSR-800 after the upgrade. Also the EZScan for WS-1080 saves me hundreds of hours of programming for me with my very large scanlists.
