Greetings

I have searched for this but only found one post but didn't really answer my issue, all scanner updates are current including updated software from the start.
all works great, no issues loading . works a treat.

however when i save current configuration to archive it doesn't save all the v-folders just the one i was working on at the time.

to get around this by cloning the sd card .

So should all the v-folders be included in the zip archive or do i get the piano in the marching band once again.?

Any pointers be appreciated. Thank you.

An EZScan configuration includes all V-Folders when you save. Are you sure you are creating the V-Folders in the configuration your are working with? See attached. File>New Configuration/

yes i am, they show up on scanner correctly and when cloning sd card, just not in the winzip folder.

What winzip file I you talking about? The V Folders are in the EZ Scan programming if you want to clone another TRX 1 you just copy configuration to the new SD card and the V-Folders will load.

Apparently they are saved in EZ Scan and not the saved configuration file. The configuration file does not save items like the DB library, audio or V Folders only the current setup for the systems, freqs, and scanlists in EZ Scan.

I created a V Folder, saved the configuration, then opened a new configuration which did not have a V Folder, and the V Folder was still there. I tried this with two different saved configurations.

Okey dokey thank you , that answers the question... seems a bit weird but at least i know now. as mentioned i just create clone sd.

If you are cloning from the same EZ Scan the items like DB and V Folders will be there, if you are taking the zip file to another computer/EZ Scan program it will not.

yeah i got it thanks, it was just one of those things, like i thought it was doing something but it wasn't, i just create copy's of sd to folder on computer or spare sd cards... it not a problem just needed to know if id not ticked a box or it has a fault.

In order to back up everything, you need to copy the files in the TRX-1 directory usually in the documents folder.
