Yes and no, while you can not use EZ Scan for one with the other, you can save the current configuration to archive and restore it in the other version of EZ Scan. HOWEVER...Not all settings will copy correctly since the hand held and base units have different settings and features. And, NO I do not remember which settings are not transferred correctly.
