Whistler TRX-1 anyone using one?

Anyone using a Whistler TRX-1 scanner? Any use in Linn or Johnson county? DMR use? NXDN use? Thanks for any insight!

I have a TRX-1. Use it on the Graybill NXDN and U of I Hospital systems when in those areas. Haven't found much other NXDN in use.

Yes, I'd say it doesn't work as well as the 436HP, but I have had some luck with it in areas. The Unication G5 works better than anything else, but is only Phase 1 at this time.

Thanks for the info! Maybe I should stick with the 436 and get the DMR upgrade - won't have NXDN but may not even need that.

Thanks! I am looking for a receiver to monitor the new BHCO system (fire mainly so will luck out there), the Linn Co system (fire also when I am in CR) Des Moines PD and FD - UHF conventional, Chicago Fire - UHF P25 conventional and Chicago PD - UHF conventional systems.It sounds like the Unification may be the way to go?
