Whistler TRX-1 not receiving signals

I programmed my scanner with the software provided. I cannot hear any conventional channels.

Can somebody help me with this.

See if you hear anything on the Weather Channels

Do you have the scan lists enabled? Are you using the database with zip code scanning or did you create your own configuration file? Please attach your configuration file and I will check it for problems.

When scanning the display shows what scanlist you have enabled and scrolls thru them. In EZ-Scan, goto File and choose "Save current configuration" and post that file here and we can have a look if it is ok. Then it's probably a scanner setting, the squelch turned up too much and it doesn't receive any signals, the attenuator are on, but those things are indicated on the display.
