The OP asks, Is it possible to start the radio and thus start the radio through this program? Or the radio must be running from the beginning

I really liked this program but since I upgraded to Win 11 I get an error and it won't run anymore.
Have you tried TRX Android Suites Control/logging program? I have always liked it better than the Whistler version, seems to work better.

I get "unspecified error calling Waveinopen"
I miss using it as I liked it much better than the stock Whistler program.

I can not run Win 11 nor do I have the control/logging program, so this is a possible help that may not provide any. Does Win11 have the capability to run programs in prior Win OS's? If so, have you tried running it in admin mode then selecting prior OS's? Thats about all I can offer, if it helps. Good luck.

Thanks for your suggestions. I did try all of them with no luck. The Whistler program works fine and I have to use it but I really like the TRX Android Suites..

@cybor - The software cannot turn on the scanner, you would have to have everything turned on prior to starting the application.
@Daleb49 - PM me if you'd like. I'd like to know why it is not working for Win 11. The WaveOpen error sounds almost like you did not grant TRX permission to use the mic. This is a new "feature" with later versions of windows.

FYI - I was informed Android 14 blocks apps targeting old versions of Android. There are downloads for Android 14 now. Thanks Paul for letting me know!
