Whistler Upgrades in Groton

Hello All - I have a PSR 600 which has been fun to listen to for a few years now. By and large, I thought I had everything pretty much covered, but now I read about Whistler upgrades to listen to DMR, etc. Is this a worthwhile upgrade for the Groton/New London area? Would I be hearing anything new, or just turning money into static? Opinions, please. Thanks

Put in "New London" for the county and Ct for the state and hit search
That is what you are missing for the most part. Some may be licensed for DMR but not yet using it. But for the most p[art that will give you a little idea.

Thanks Bob! I hadn't run across that site before. After reviewing, I don't see anything there to inspire me to spend the cash. I think I'll wait a little longer.
