Whistler WS 1065 Firmware Update

Not sure if this has already been posted but I bought a Whistler WS-1065 a couple of months ago and I went on Whistler's website today and saw that there is a firmware CPU update from 2.6 which was on my radio to the new update of 2.8

I could not find out what this firmware update fixes.

It fixes user caused errors when attempting to apply incorrect firmware that was meant for the specific model. Attempting to update a scanner with firmware not explicitly made for the scanner will cause it to wipe the current firmware and leave it blank. 2.8 was uploaded for users that ended up doing that so that they could unbrick their scanners.
