i am having problems getting my scanner to program it says all the channels are there but nothing is working any ideas please

Make sure scan lists are enabled by pressing the numbers on the keypad. Is that Iron River Michigan? What programming software are you using? Which agencies are you trying to monitor?

Welcome to the RR forums. It's always best to be as specific as possible when requesting help. What agencies are you looking to listen to? How did you program the scanner (by hand? software?) Your county emergency services operate on Michigan's Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) so it's advisable to use an app. Consider PSREdit, you're already an RR premium subscriber so you can utilize the RR web service to import data from the database to your scanner so you can program in a large trunked radio system. Otherwise you'll be bound to make programming errors.
