Whistler WS1098 Lido/Amps Mounting

Wondering if anyone has any info on remote mounting the head, specifically Amps/Lido (model #, where to buy, etc.).

Would like to remote mount, but I haven't found anything related.

Mounted my 1095 to a piece of (vinyl covered) metal. The magnets are quite strong.

I used a double din enclosure .. top for stereo and bottom for scanner.

No need for a mount .. just use the magnets, and best of all, removable.
