You probably have a TRX-1 or TRX-2 and you then have to connect your scanner to your computer using a USB cable.

Then start the EZ-Scan program and select Scanner/SD Card at the top and then select Prepare Scanner Memory / SD Card for use. It will fix a corrupt memory card.

Then select Copy Configuration to Scanner Memory/SD card and you will have your scanner configuration working again.

I have a 1088 which corrupts itself every time it falls over. Pulling the sd card and running optimize for scanner from the software brings it back but you have to manually pull the power to get it to reboot.

Remember to turn the unit OFF before removing power ( USB cable or batteries)! Without turning the unit of first you can corrupt the SD card

Whistler was very good in replying to me about a problem I was having with my TRX-1. They determined I needed to send it in. Cost was $120 and you have to pay with a cashier's check or money order. Same good email experience with a Whistler inspection camera that had problems. It is going to cost $75 to repair. I learned an expensive lesson. Thought I could save money if I shipped them together. Do not let UPS package you stuff. That is not Whistler's fault , but the shipping bill was way too high. The package should arrive today and I hope they can turn them around quickly.
