Does anybody when a Whistler scanner will come out that works with Simulcasting and monitors the DMR control frequency? Hopefully a scanner that uses that same PC program to upload frequencies to the scanner.

No. No one knows when, if at all.

I don't expect Whistler to come out with any kind of new scanner. They have got rid of staff and cancelled the software development of current scanners. They seem to be in a cost saving mode in their scanner division and probably only continues with their current line up as long as people buy them and will lower the sales price over time until they run out of material when components become obsolete or there are no longer a profit to be made.

He's just keeping it real. With the cost of development/marketing/support, existence of the SDS series scanners, and increasing encryption around the country, the cost of the new product would limit how profitable it would be and how many units would realistically be sold.

You sure you're not referring to Uniden also?
