Who Can Receive the Decatur DPS Repeater?

I was wondering how many of you can hear the DPS Decatur digital repeater direct or on skip?
The tower is only 30 feet tall, with a 20 foot omni directional antenna on top. The radio is a Motoral Quantar, power out is 125 watts.

I am hoping that sometime in the future we can get a 100 foot tower at Decatur to help in our radio coverage in Wise county.

I don't have P25 yet so I don't listen to it very much but I can hear it mobile in the Mineral Wells area and at home on an indoor antenna or hand held. I'll have to pay more attention to it. I know before when it was on 159.21 I could hear it in NE Tarrant county on high spots and up 287 to about Bellvue.

DPS Decatur digital repeater

I have picked up the Decatur machine once (skip). I am in Houston and run a Radio Shack antenna in the attic. I get the P25 machines in South Texas Region #8 quite frequently (McAllen, Harlingen, Laredo and Del Rio stations).

I can regularly get it from Cooke County, Tarrant County, Denton County, and the western edge of Collin County.Of course I can hear it in Wise county also. To the west, I have been able to copy it from Jack and Palo Pinto Counties easily. All this with a 1/4 wave mag-mount antenna!

Of course, Whichita Falls base comes in a lot more places. I have been able to copy that a few times from San Antonio. Waco seems to have a pretty "booming" signal usually also. I have heard their analog all the way from Post (just SE of Lubbock) to San Antonio.

I can hear W. Falls and Childress from Western Oklahoma. on 155.445, 155.460. in the clear.

I hear what I believe to be the Decatur digital repeater at my residence far south Fort Worth along I-35 and the Johnson County line. I have also heard it mobile along I-35 in Alvarado.

Though I am Not hearing DPS wise County, Wise Co. SO aswell as Parker SO sure have been blowing the doors off here in Fannin Co. Will try to listen and give ya a better report later.
