As posted above, who here in the Twin Cities Metro area is using an SDR (Software Defined Radio)?

just got a mini pc to replace my big workstation as the scanner host that has been running 24/7 racking up my Xcel bill.

I've been able to decode 5 simultaneous traffic channels and the CC on the VOYO Vmac Mini using SDRTrunk.

Have one of the older units that would drift during room temperature changes and having to change that setting in the software. I used to use one on and off but since the new crop of ones that don't drift and stay on frequency I might get back into it. Since there is more and more DMR cropping up here, it's time to get back into it and with winter coming staying inside offers more time use one.
