It's in my attic and is an antenna designed by our very own prcguy and featured in monitoring times. It feeds an advanced receiver research low noise 250-270 preamp.

I had initially used a 996t to search but the horrendously slow search speed caused me to switch to the 780. I finally got a decent list of channels and just programmed it to scan. I will probably switch it to the 15 once I get the programing ported over.

There is a lot of crap on there but sometimes you get some good stuff. Keep an ear out for 263.820, the missionaries in Bolivia.

Thanks for the feed!

FYI it has been locked up on 261.575 for over 45 minutes, no audio.

I will lock it out when I get home. I am posting from my phone. I try to keep an ear on it from work but was just too busy today. Also, I have an irlp node in the same room so it will occasionally cause some noise when it is in use. Unfortunately there isn't much I can do about that right now.

Thanks for the compliments.

What's your IRLP node number, I'll give you a holler there sometime.

Nice feed. Cool to hear the Atlantic sats since I'm not in range. Great to have something to compare as I hear those same clicks on 268.150 and wondered if it was local noise but guess not :) Advanced Receiver Research P240-270VDG preamp works very well.

Feed is stuck on 261.575 again. Thought I'd let you know. Great feed, I listen to it all the time. Trying to find the plans for the satcom omni now so I can listen live instead of streaming. My internet takes a beating with all the streams I run.

I built a yagi to try to listen to the 278 sat that people have been talking about. That thing hasn't been too interesting so I pointed it toward the South East at the LANT (Atlantic) sat to see how it does with the regular satcom stuff. I am getting 260.550 full meter and .350 almost full meter. It's an 8 element beam and is about 7 feet long and seems to have quite a bit of gain. The signal levels are higher than I have ever heard in the past. I have it on the 780 providing audio for the feed. There is a bank of local KC Center / Military stuff that might be enabled time to time as well.

I see two feeds on ProScan, "Satcom" and "UHF Satcom", are they both your feeds?
