• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Mine will be reset after the power failure when I return to town on Saturday.

But luckily there are lots of others to enjoy.

Man, my wife hates me listening. Saw another thread where the spouses would go to firing ranges and such together...in my case it's the old "opposites attract" I guess. *sigh* lol

Thanks! I didn't know that. Who are some of the departments with feeds. Now that I think of it Loveland PD has a feed, and I remember a while back there was a DTRS feed on a website, but I don't know who else does.

Was using WinAmp, will try Win Media Player.

edit / additional: neither work for me...that's what I get for trying to access out of a network instead of from home ~heh~

All five of my feeds are now active once again, effective 1800hrs on Saturday.
