why cant i listen ???

hello. i absolutely love this site and have been listening for years now. but, i have 1 question.

in the live audio feeds, i find i can click on too anywhere in the world and hear. there only seems to be one feed that i can never hear:

National Hurricane Center Skywarn Nets - Echolink Node 7203, IRLP Node 9129

can someone please explain to me why in simple terms as i am no expert.

is it due to the fact that im in australia ???

It only broadcast when the net is activated

so even if it says there are over 100 listening....it doesnt necessarily mean its working.

im a bit of a weather freak and wonder if you would know of any chanels in the u.s.a dedicated to weather??

That particular feed is normally streaming but there won't be any activity unless there is a hurricane net in progress. You can read more about the net here - voipwx.net
