So when you scroll through the quick keys on conventional systems you can clearly see the channel name you have programmed in. For example...Local 2m ,Airport, etc. But when I do any trunked system it just shows the control group names. Why can't I make it simply say Fire, Animal Control and just name the channel or quick key? Like this I have to memorize all the channels and groups or make a quick reference chart on paper.
I could easily name the channels with my old Whistler. Am I missing something??
