Just wondering if there is a way to have more than 10 quick keys on the 246T ? (really why is there only 10 when the 396 will do 100)

I would have to guess there is only 10 period. I was also wondering how people have found this and if there is a way around this.

I just find it weird that you can have MANY systems on this scanner due to the memory configuration, but you can only toggle 10 of them on and off via the quick keys.

Maybe a firmware update will change this in the future ?

I love the scanner .. but this is just one of those things that doesnt make much sense and could really use upgrading to 100.

No. And given the age of the scanner and the new ones out now I'd doubt a change would be coming.

There are only 10 quick keys on the '246T because that's what it was designed with. It came out before the '396 did. They had to start out with some number, didn't they? And no, there's no way around it.

Um, anyone know why there's only 100 quick keys on the BCD396? Why aren't there 500? Or 1000?
