Freescan: Why so many ERRORS after downloading 8-10 year old programming from BCD396XT?

Wanted to save a file of the current programming before I attempt a major update. After connecting scanner and completing download, it showed over 100 errors. Is this normal because of updated bandwidth specifications, etc.?

Could you possibly have an intermittent cable or dirty connectors. After 8-10 years, connectors could need cleaning.

I’m so “rusty” I forgot to check. Later I tried to reproduce the event and it seemed to be referring to “parsing” errors.
