Why the big price increase in the Austin Spectra

I was deciding on weather or not to purchase the Austin Spectra mobile antenna for $100.00 on a web sitebut first I wanted to check and hear what people thought of it since I have never spent that amount on a mobile scanner antenna. After checking things out i decided to purchase one and now I seee the price went up to $139.00. My question is why the big increase and I think I have decided against the antenna..

I like mine... to bad it's so ugly:lol: . I got it from HRO and had a good experience. Also had checked out RF Wiz and I think they are probably a good company as well.

I had one of these antennas a few years ago. I wasn't really happy with it, (other cheaper antennas worked as well or better) and as mentioned it is butt ugly. Any of a number of antennas out there will work well for you and not cost $140 either.
