Mr Longfeather do you still live in Chester ILL
How close do you live to the Prison By the River Bridge?
The Prison has a 800 Analog Trunking system that my by overloading the 535 if you are losing the ILL P25 State System and or MO P25 State System.

attenuation will cut the signals to 1/100 of the original, or you could just use the antenna that works.

Using a outside Antenna would let the Prison overload the scanner frontend the only thing is to use a tunable trap to to block the Prison but that would also block Starcom and MoWins signals. Like posted above your best bet may just be use the Factory Antenna.

agreed. This may be a situation where more antenna is not necessarily more better. If your factory attenna worked, and you heard what you wanted, don't change.
