Wichita CO TX ARES Skywarn info wanted.

The past week or so there has not been any activity on 146.940 and there has been some different tones and automated voices. Usually they do a broadcast at 7 30 and 12 30 of the NWS hazardous weather outlook and thats not been happening either.

Is 146.940 still the primary freq and does anyone know the back up freqs?

You might try 147.120 - It's one of the older freq's I have listed for Wichita CO.

Thanks for the reply. after sending out a couple of emails found out the 146.940 repeater is down for maintainance.

In severe weather operations for Wichita County area Skywarn net will be on 147.140 with 146.840 as back up.
