I have decided to clean out my scanner and just keep talkgroups that actually have traffic that I want to hear. That being said I turned on the wildcard for the Wichita / Sedgwick County system and found that I am getting hits on the following groups. I dont think I am ever going to listen to many of them but I am still curious as to what they are. I have looked in the RR database and found no reference to them.
6544 I think is some kind of group home, I keep hearing "mr. ?? wonders if he can go smoke" "mr. ?? wants to know when he is getting his meds", "mr. ?? has homework to do"
7280 seems to be one I will listen to, usually has some kind of police or special enforcement tactical stuff.
Anyone want to spend some time and help identify them? I'll submit them to RR if you want or you can do it yourself. I just work in Wichita and cant stop what I am doing every time one of them keys up.
The column on the right is the hit count but it was only counting Friday and Today 9/11/2012
