Also, I see that there is a USB cable connected to the USB A slot. What cable is this being used for? Interesting

Can anyone post some screenshots of settings for the vonets bridge. I used to have patience with this stuff and figure it out but as I get older things tend to become air born if you know what I mean.
I do have the bridge on the router.
Should it show the scanner mac address on the router or the bridge mac address? I have 2 IP addresses for 1 mac address on my router. I have the scanner on my router for sure. I can go the IP and get the ,message for the scanner name.
Can I use this to connect my SDS200 directly to a Windows tablet running ProScan without going through a LAN?Vonets VAP11G-300 Wireless Portable Wifi $20.00
From Amazon works great powered off the scanner.
Can I use this to connect my SDS200 directly to a Windows tablet running ProScan without going through a LAN?
I want to use a Windows tablet as a remote head in my vehicle using ProScan. It seems it would be less mess, less cables, to connect the SDS200 to my tablet via wifi directly.
Provided they're both on the same network (subnet ect) I assume so.... I use it with an Asus T100TA Transfomer which is a tablet with removable keyboard/dock. The Vonet is plugged into the ethernet on the front of the scanner, giving it an IP via DHCP, and then I setup a static IP on my router for the Vonet and it works great. Can I use this to connect my SDS200 directly to a Windows tablet running ProScan without going through a LAN?

Well, I want to use this in my vehicle, so neither one will be connected to my router at home.
I guess I might need to look at another option for my application.
