Wildcard problem?/question?/`Operator Headspace Error'?

I think I `may have?' discovered a `bug?' in the PSR-500/600 series `firmware?' / `software?' / `hardware?' / `whatever-ware'? When doing a WildCard search for new Talkgroups *and* having the `switch' set for "Wildcard Ignores stored Talkgroups" / "TGRPs in disabled SLs = Locked Out" I am still getting hits for TalkGroups I have in other ScanLists loaded into the scanner even though I have those ScanLists `LockedOut' / `DisAbled'. The only way I can stop getting hits on those TalkGroups is to either use the F1/LockOut key option when they come up under the WildCard search screen or copy them to the ScanList that I am using the WildCard search in and then locking them out in that particular ScanList. I am *not* griping about TGs for other `systems' / `counties', / `municipalities', `whatever' that I *don't* have programmed into ScanLists that I have currently loaded and in fact expected that I'd be getting quite a few `itinerant association' TGs that I would have to lockout as part of the `nature of the DTRS beast' that the CO DTRS is.

I *am* currently running the latest, and `greatest?', U1.8 / U1.4 / F1.0 off the `info' screen, updates from GRE in both scanners, 1 PSR-500 & 1 PSR-600, in use for this particular search. It doesn't seem to matter if I am listening from home or I am listening `out-n-about'.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Are you in manual mode on the wildcard object when that's happening? If so, that's just the way it works. It's either a feature or a bug depending on how you look at it.

Nope! Not in `manual' mode. I'm just letting the scanner `cook away' in `scan' like I'd basically normally do if I had programmed all of the TG IDs in the `range' of whatever it is I'm `searching' for now with a `Wildcard'.
