I thought the 106 was supposed to ignore TG's already stored, how do I get it to do this? For example I'm listening to Phoenix PD, I usually have wildcard locked out but sometimes I hear the PD switch to a channel I don't have programmed in so I go to wildcard so I can see if I am missing something when I go to wildcard it still shows TG's that are in the same scanlist as the wildcard.

If you're in manual mode, it will show all talkgroup activity, regardless of whether the talkgroup has been stored or not. If the radio is in Scan mode, the wildcard will ignore talkgroups that have already been stored.

Pretty sure that if you are sitting on the wildcard (I forget which mode, pause or man) it will show them all. Better to set it as a separate scanlist and just enable/disable scanlist.

Well that would explain it, thanks. I can just leave it unlocked in scan and put all TG's in just lockout the one's I don't want to hear.
