It's that time of year again. It looks like the MAFFS went straight from training to operating this year. Lots of flights out of BJC daily. Is the tanker base freq the same as last year? How about the A/A & A/G plan? I've got them all programmed in, but haven't had much chance to monitor them with my new title of home schooling teacher to three kids added to my resume.
I thought that MAFFS was only activated once the civilian/USFS fire bombers were tapped out. Is that already the case this year or has the virus caused a hiccup in the normal operations?
