Phoenix Fire, Daisy Mountain Fire, and other mutual aid assets are working a brush fire north and west of I-17 and Carefree Highway. It is between the Ben Avery Shooting Facility [BASF] and the Federal Correctional Institution [FCI]. BLM and AZ State Land are also assisting.
23 units are assigned and are working the fire on channel A-5. I would expect that BoP perimeter officers are monitoring the progress on their UHF network.
